Singing Rock Supported the Czech Team at the Prestigious Rope Rescue Competition Grimpday 2025: Silver in International Competition!
At the beginning of June, another edition of the prestigious rope rescue competition Grimpday took place in Geneva, Switzerland — this time as the Swiss Edition.
Among the 32 teams from all over the world on the starting list was the Fire Brigade Czech Republic, made up of rescuers and instructors from the Secondary School and College of Fire Protection Services (SOŠ PO and VOŠ PO), Fire and Rescue Service of the Hradec Králové Region, Fire and Rescue Service of the Liberec Region, and Lukáš Neklan from POLYGON Singing Rock.
Over four days, competitors evacuated casualties from a variety of environments — from high-rise buildings and silos to a cabin of a Ferris wheel. The challenges also included a river traverse, rafting, and providing first aid.
In a field of strong international competition, the Czech team secured an outstanding 2nd place, finishing just behind the British team Intervention Rescue and ahead of Go Ropes from Poland.
We are proud of the success of the Czech team, which SINGING ROCK – a member of BR Group – supported not only with equipment but also with the expertise of a SR instructor. Congratulations to all the winners!
